How Did I Create The Book Series?

Book Series:

It all started many, many years ago when I soon realised that when my children asked me to read them a bedtime story, most books back then were far too long.

Sometime later, I thought the stories needed to be short, making them perfect for bedtime but long enough for the little ones and short enough for the adults. Then, it came to me: how about a book with seven short bedtime stories, one for each night of the week?

All the stories are interactive, as Reggie Rat likes to ask questions and engage with the listeners.

Drawing & Colouring Book Series:

While editing my books for publication, I kept looking at these beautiful illustrations and thought, what if all the little ones could draw them and then get to colour them in? This would help develop their creative skills and make it fun for them. So, the accompanying drawing & colouring book series was created. There is now a drawing & colouring book for every two reading books to go with them.

Your Tales of Adventure Creative Writing and Illustrations Book Series:

As the book series developed, I became excited about storytelling. What if children wanted to create their own tales of adventure? This was when the final book series was designed. It's a guide to becoming your own storyteller. Here, you learn to write a story, create illustrations, and bring the whole story together.
